Stacy McManus, a principal at the Park Spencer Group, recently co-authored an article for the Executive Adviser, Sloan Management Review's new collaboration with the Wall Street Journal, titled "When Mentoring Goes Bad."  Based on her academic research conducted over several years, this article details the ways mentorships can sour and what individuals and organizations can do to keep them on track.  The original research articles, published with co-authors Lillian Eby and colleagues in the peer-reviewed Journal of Vocational Behavior, can be found here and here.
